Northern Beaches Toastmasters is unique while still fulfilling the objectives of Toastmasters International.
We meet once per month at a different restaurant restaurant which provides an opportunity to learn while sampling different cuisines.
We generally have the restaurant to ourselves or a separate function room.
The restaurant atmosphere (and generally a bottle of wine) creates a convivial atmosphere and camaraderie.
We also meet at a members home when there is a fifth Sunday in the month.
This creates additional bonding and opportunities for speaking assignments.

Our club provides a supportive and nurturing environment where our members have the confidence to risk new speaking skills and styles.
Our evaluations provide honest and worthwhile feedback to speakers while encouraging them to continue growing and experimenting.
Our companionship is enjoyed while respecting the rights of each person undertaking an assignment.
Each member knows that he or she is respected and valued for his or her particular skills and abilities, regardless of their level of achievement.
The members are the reason that the club exists and are the driving force for its continued growth.
Visitors are always made welcome and given the opportunity to become members.
